Allan's sound was comparable to Glen Miller’s sax section or a Motown horn section.  In his musical journey, Allan performed behind jazz feature artists, Kai Winding, Larry London, Bud Brisbois, and Don Sheffield. Allan performed musical entertainment for the Mario Andretti Driver of the Century Award Ceremony and the Miss Pennsylvania Pageant Ball.
